TRADITION CONSTRUCTION INC HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT
Members of this company, considered as 'top management', are committed to the health, safety, and wellbeing of all employees. TRADITION CONSTRUCTION INC has developed and implemented an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHS MS) to document the company's and industry's best health and safety practices, to satisfy the requirements and expectations of its interested parties and improve the overall management of the company.
Top management shall ensure every reasonable precaution is taken to provide a safe and healthy work environment. It is our policy that all interested parties understand their collective responsibilities and work in a safe manner to protect workers from incidents or illnesses.
We acknowledge, we are all collectively responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy working environment and shall ensure that our employees receive the required training and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects, in each province we conduct business.
Top management promotes two-way feedback as we all work together in the spirit of cooperation and consultation with our workplace parties to promote the prevention of incidents and illnesses reductions and unwanted losses. Two-way communication between our interested parties is a vital part of our business.
All employees are responsible for reporting any incidents or work-related illnesses, including workplace violence, harassment, or other form of discrimination to their direct supervisor, or top management immediately.
Top management is commitment to determining OHSMS objectives based on the annual review of our Health and Safety Management System and commit to the continual improvement of our system and performance in occupational health, safety, and wellness.
We also acknowledge our collective responsibilities to provide a workplace that is free for violence, harassment, and discrimination.
We acknowledge our workforce has the right to refuse unsafe work, to participate in health and safety and to know about the hazards and control in the work they perform.
Documents will be annually reviewed, and revisions will be recorded. Documents will be retained for 3 years.
The purpose of the annual review will be to improve the overall effectiveness of the OHSMS by comparing statistical data and changes in legislation to continually improve OHSMS effectiveness.
Our Organization shall audit our OHSMS on an annual basis. We will be following the ISO45001 (2018) Standard for our system and the audit. This standard may be updated in the future. We shall ensure we are using and trained on the most current version.
